Why Refrly Exists

Refrly bridges that gap. Instead of relying on anonymous reviews or self-promotion, we let the people who actually hired a creative speak up. Producers, directors, brands, and fellow creators can write detailed, public recommendations for the creatives they've worked with.

Who Runs Refrly
Refrly is operated by KUMAKURA JIRO JIMUSHO K.K., based in Tokyo. The idea for the platform grew out of years of working alongside filmmakers and production professionals who travel to Japan for shoots. Through those collaborations, it became clear that a simple, trust-based way to recommend the people you've worked with was something the industry needed.
